AI as a Tool in Quilting-Melinda Rushing, Instructor

Time: 10 am to 4 pm

Place: Southwest Arts Center

Fee: $50.00

 

Quilt instructor Melinda Rushing will teach you how to understand how to use AI in your quilting.  We’ll practice creating artist statements, artist bios and even catchy titles for quilts.  We’ll also practice using prompts for creating images as patterns for making quilts.  Sewing machines are not needed, but an iPad or laptop is required.  I’ll also review some of the apps I use to design quilts.

Material / supplies needed:

Laptop or iPad with charging cable and extension cord. 

Create personal free accounts for ChatGPT (www.chatgpt.com) and Bing Image Creator (www.bing.com).  Make a note of your passwords!  

 

Also, if you are using an iPad you can download the ChatGPT app.  Bing has an app, but I prefer using the browser version; you can certainly try both.  
 

Paper and pens/pencils would be helpful for note taking.
